  6. In the latest in our series on tips for new investors, Jhon Graham describes how he manage his investments When i was eighteen i inherited ₤1000 from my grandmother. I invested 1 half of the money on the stock market and the rest i put in the bank. I bought shares 2 in three different companies and each one pays me a dividend3 every year.
