GS3055-I Overview • THE GS3055-I: • A universal wireless alarm communicator that can be used • in a backup or primary role. • A digital device that connects the alarm control panel to the • GSM network and reports alarm signals directly to a monitoring • station receiver (eg. Sur-Gard System III & System II). • Station must be IP enabled. • • High-speed and reliable alarm communications via • the GPRS channel of the GSM network.

  6. Monitoring Station Impact The GS3055-I communicates to the receiver in Contact ID format. The signal that is displayed to the operator looks 100% identical to Contact ID information received from a traditional phone line.

  7. Monitoring Station Impact Because the GS3055-I is an IP communicator there are no phone line charges for answering the call.

  8. Monitoring Station Impact Because IP communications are secure there is no chance of the account number/reporting codes being changed by the phone lines. If part of the information gets corrupted the GS3055-I will simply re-transmit the signal.
