  1. Work Force and Education (STEM) Committee Committee Chair – David Fisher, Battelle Committee Vice Chair – Committee Description: NDIA will provide an integrating forum in cyber workforce development and STEM to ensure government and industry can best leverage what is already being done and identify gaps assuring an effective sufficient workforce in what needs to be addressed. This committee will be bridged to the existing NDIA STEM Division. Leverage the work being done by STEM division with particular focus on Cyber education, training, and efforts within the national Cyber gaming and engagement venues such as CCDC, Cyber Patriot, etc. Tie to policy decisions that are coming out of the Legislative Committee which particularly relate to changes in certification requirements, training requirements or overall workforce composition. Identify Community Colleges/Colleges/Universities with programs that have Cyber forums which might provide opportunities for mentoring

Work Force and Education (STEM) Committee • Roadmap • Identify a roadmap for the next 6-9 months • (What are the near term actions the committee has identified?) • Establish a notional schedule for prioritizing these items • If other thoughts emerge on a vision beyond the 6-9 month window bring them up for a sanity check to know where we are setting our course by undertaking them.
