  2. Prompt • We are interested in finding out about your past, present, and future cheeses. • For this writing assignment, you will analyze a major change in your life and how you reacted to it.

  3. Prompt • Write a cheesy essay that describes a major change in your life.

  4. Set Up Introduction – You will choose a “change” quote from a given list and reflect on how that quote affects you and the major change you are writing about. BodyParagraph 1 – This paragraph should describe in detail with examples what the major change was, how long it took, who was involved, where did it take place, and any other relevant details that “set the scene” for your experience. Body Paragraph 2 –This paragraph should explain in detail your reaction to the major change and how you handled it. What kind of attitude did you have? What kinds of actions did you take? Then, state whether or not you handled the change positively or negatively. Transition into what you could have done differently to handle the change more positively? Even if you think you handled the change positively the first time, what other positive ways could you have handled it?

  5. Conclusion – Begin this paragraph by describing which character you are most like: Sniff, Scurry, Hem, or Haw. Briefly explain why based on your reaction to the change. We also discussed that change can lead you to new cheeses you never even knew about. What new cheese did this change lead you to? End this paragraph with a connection back to the quote you used in your introduction paragraph. Relate it to your new cheese, how you should have reacted to your change, etc.
