Nobel Prize for Chemistry awarded to Dorothy Hodgkin in 1964. 10th December 1884 The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain was published on this day. 10th December 1978 Superman The Movie premiered on this day in 1978.

  3. Playground Reminder Please remember when you are on the all weather pitch you should not spoil other peoples’ games by deliberately kicking their ball away. If you have any problems or need any help in the playground please speak to a playground supervisor to get help.

  5. Well Done to… Well done to Daniel and James who took part in a BB’s Christmas Card Colouring Competition.

  6. Well done to… Well done to Joseph, Rhiannon, Aiden, Marcin, Jensen and Daniel who took part in the Cubs Camp. They played games, went swimming and did laser tag. It was loads of fun!

  7. Well done to… Well done to Gemma and Shannon who took part in a Badminton Competition and made it to the Quarter Finals.

  8. Well done to… Well done to everyone who took part in Santa’s Fun Run on Sunday, in aid of Orkney’s Deaf Children.

  9. Well done to… Well done to all those who took part in a Dance Show at KGS. There were lots of different dances.
