Hitler An Austrian, he rose to be the leader of the Nazi party in Germany He created a group called the SA who wore uniforms to protect him at meetings He spoke aggressively against the leadership of the 1930s before becoming German Chancellor He became leader by making them huge promises about money and the power of their country He was responsible for the first aggressive act of WW2

  5. Churchill and Roosevelt War-time Prime Minister of England, renowned for his inspirational speeches He created an alliance with the disabled and elderly leader of America, Roosevelt. Roosevelt supported Churchill with practical resources.

  6. What was the final act of the war? America dropped two atomic bombs. One on Hiroshima and one on Nagasaki. The combined deaths at the time where approximately 200,000. It was justified as this many people where dying each month in Asia, as the war continued.

  7. In 1940, a year after England entered World War II, Golding joined the Royal Navy, where he served in command of a rocket-launcher and participated in the invasion of Normandy. Golding’s experience in World War II had a profound effect on his view of humanity and the evils of which it was capable.
