  5. DISTRIBUTION Distributers act as the ‘middleman’ getting the feature film from the filmmaker to the cinemas. They are the ones who hold the legal right to send out a film, they also are responsible for the promotion and marketing of the film.

  6. EXHIBITION Exhibition is the retail branch of the film industry and is responsible for audiences seeing the final product. What the exhibitor sells is the experience of a film (and, frequently, concessions like soft drinks and popcorn).
