  2. Job Task AnalysisSummary Process • Requested Industry Participation and volunteers for Advisory Committee(AC) • Industry & DCJS provided information about the profession and current requirements • Developed an AC to assist SMT with development of content task list.

  3. JTA Summary Process Continued • The AC reviewed and modified the task list • AC developed a rating scale • AC developed demographic questions • AC developed a sampling plan • SMT developed survey • AC reviewed the survey instrument

  4. JTA Summary Process Continued • Results of the survey were presented to the AC for consideration. • AC developed task exclusion criteria based on survey responses. • AC developed content outline • Based upon the content outline recommendations were made for the numbers of training hours required for each major content area.

  5. Final Report for Security Officer • The Security Officer Survey Final Report has been completed by SMT • 1400 surveys mailed to Security Officers • 149 returned with incorrect address • Of the 1,251- 295 returned surveys • Overall return rate of 24% • Over 98% indicated that the survey completely covered the necessary KSA’s • Reliability Estimates were high
