  2. Those students who got failed in the tenth class from CBSE or ICSE and any state board can apply for the on-demand exam of NIOS. Go online, fill the form, submit the required documents, and give the exam. There are two procedures for taking admission in NIOS for class 10th failed studentsviz offline and online.

  3. Offline admission procedure: • Visit the NIOS official website. Click on the admission tab and select the offline admission form. • Download the application form. • Now fill the form manually and attach two photographs. • Enclose the required documents and demand draft with the form. • Two demand drafts have to be made in favor of secretary of Rs 4000/-and Rs 1000/- • Send the form with the DD at: Regional Centre, PatnaLalitBhawan, Ground FloorBailey Rd, (Jawaharlal Nehru Marg)Pin Code – 800001

Online admission procedure: • You must have a valid email id and password to log on to the NIOS website for admission. • Click it admission tab and select stream 2. • Fill application. • You can avail transfer of credit facility. • Pay the fees. There are many options given to pay like net banking, credit cards, and debit cards. • You can also pay by DD. Take a print out of the documents, get a DD made, and send the form with DD to the regional office address.
