  2. GDP: Gross Domestic Product • The total value of all goods and services provided within a country • How rich a country is

  3. GNP- Gross National Product • All the goods and services for a country in a year in two areas • $ made within a country • $ made by citizens living outside that country.

  4. Compare and Contrast GNP and GDP

  5. Population The total number of people in an area

  6. Population Density • Number of people divided by amount of land • How crowded a country is

Per Capita GDP: The average amount of money earned by each person in a country $/ GDP divided by population • Write out the GDP in billions • Write out the population • Cross off the last six digits from both numbers ( or the last three, if there aren’t six) • Calculate. This is how much the average person earns
