Economic Development Industrial Growth Korea & Middle East Korean Contractors 70’S 80’S Status of Korea's Overseas Construction(as of the end of March in 2006) Brief History Korea's overseas construction has contracted 5,125 projects of US$ 201.6 bil. in the world since 1966. ▶ Contracted projects of US$ 117.8 bil. in the Middle East since 1973. ▶ Contributed to the economic development and industrial growth in the Middle East as well as in itself Korea in 70's and early 80's. 1
