Things you need to know • Uniforms need to be ironed and in a high state of polish. • It is highly recommended you drop you BDUs off at a dry Cleaners once a month or two. • It costs $5 to $8 get starch you can wear a BDU two to four times to weekly meetings without needing to was. The uniform will look great. • Boots need to be polished kiwi is best but liquid shine is good too. • Get and use blousing rubbers available through Supply. • Cadets are expected to present themselves at highest standards. • Hair Cut – long hair will result in being sent home • Shaved – unshaven for those who have too will result in being sent home. • All the correct ribbons, hats, belts black t shirt.

Things to always bring. • Bring your CAP ID • Bring your Binder • Know the Cadet Oath "I pledge to serve faithfully in the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Program and that I will attend meetings regularly, participate actively in unit activities, obey my officers, wear my uniform properly and advance my education and training rapidly to prepare myself to be of service to my community, state and nation."

  4. Pre-meeting • Drill Tests – Cadets wishing to receive a drill test for promotion will arrive no later than 1850 for drill tests. • The admin NCO is responsible for administering drill tests. • Supplies – Cadets wanting to purchase supplies will arrive no later than 1850 items will be paid for in cash. • The supply BCO will be available from 1850 to 1900 • Any questions you have about issues other than that nights training will be address to the next higher Cadet. • Cadets ask Flight Sergeants • Flight Sergeants ask 1st SGT • 1st SGT asks XO or CC

  5. First Formation • 1900 • Cadets are expected to arrive prior to first formation and gather in the area of the flights in the drill square by 1855. • If flight SGT is not outside the senior cadet will form up the flight at 1855. • Need to have CAP ID and know the Cadet oath for all meetings. • 1900-1910 • Flight Time – Flight SGTs should use this time to work out reoccurring issues with their cadets.

  6. Training Time • 1910-1955 • 2000-2045 • Cadets are expected to be focused and attentive during training. • Cadets will be marched from one location to another. • Cadets need a pen/pencil and small notebook.

  7. Final Formation • 2045-2100 • Promotions any cadets that are to be promoted. • Note if you have completed all required tasks you will be pinned on the 3rd Monday of the month unless otherwise approved by senior staff. . If you complete a task night of you will not pin on that night • Cadets are expected to have rides waiting and be picked up no later than 2100.
