  5. In Ayos cityconstructed the well including water pipe system. Project realized due to extraordinary cooperation with Polish missionaries working at missions in Cameroon. Project cost: EUR 18 000 FIRST WELL IN CAMEROON 2009

  6. There is no drinking water in many areas in Cameroon. Mainly they are completely dry, however rivers are present in some places. THE MAIN ISSUE – water from rivers CAN NOT BE USED for drinking purposes. This is the source of many diseases. Well construction – it does not mean only water supply. It is huge influence for all relations in country, living conditions improvement, development of social and family relations. Water is BASICgood to improve human being situation in various aspects. RC Wolsztyn got huge experience by constructing the well in Cameroon. Project was realized by assistance of Polish missionaries present in Africa. WELL FOR CAMEROON

Aim of drinking water supplies is to limit number of diseases which result of ‘dirty water’ – Buruli ulcer, dengue (breakbone fever), leishzmaniasis, river-blindness, schistomiasis, coma and Chagas diseaseare ONLY SOME of diseases present in countries of 3rd world. Moreover, hygiene improvement result the decrease death among children. THE PROJECT IS ADDRESSED TO: That project is addressed to people in Cameroon who have limited access to clean water

  9. OUTCOMES: Cities where next wells are to be constructed will be assigned by assistance of Oblat Missionaries – Polish missionaries working in Cameroon. Today are following: FIGUIL, GUIDER, TCHONTCHI. Construction cost of the well: range EUR 16 000 to 20 000 (drilled well) Ordinary water source cost: EUR 2500 (dug well)
