You will need: • Cups • Warm/cold water (BE CAREFUL IF USING HOT WATER- ASK ADULTS TO HELP) • Substances to try and dissolve (for example: sand, sugar, salt, coffee etc.) Dissolving What to do: Use the table below to predict what will happen to your chosen substance Use a spoon to put substance in water and stir. (Will stirring more/quicker make a difference?) Observe and record what happens. Write down why you think this happens.
