  4. Steve's Life • Steve wasn't always so fortunate , when Steve was born his parents gave him up for adoption • Steve's parents were graduates of University of Wisconsin and had gotten married shortly after putting him up for adoption. • He wouldn't go on to find out about his parents until the age of 27, where he met his biological sister Mona Simpson

  5. Steve's Life(Cont.) • It was through Steve's adoptive father that the Young jobs was “instilled with confidence, tenacity, and mechanical prowess” • Jobs wasn't always the man he was as an adult • Steve Jobs always had trouble in school and was seen as a prankster • Even with his problem in school Jobs tested so well that the teachers wanted him to skip high school and go on to college , which his parents declinded

  6. Accomplishments • Bought the successful Movie company we all know as “Pixar” • Headed the group that found the Apple 1 computer in 1976 • The iphone • Mac OS X, which is used on Mac computers and Macbooks today • And many more

  7. Accomplishments(Cont) • His accomplishment are appealing to the ADGA program because they are reliable and provide ideal programs for the use of design. • Although PC computers provide somewhat of the same help, Apple Computers are widely accepted as a better tool for projects the involve designing and creating things from Videos to posters.

  8. Influence • Advertising and Design requires minds who are not afraid to come up with their own ideas and think different. • Jobs' success is not based only upon the technical but also the visual. • With each new Apple Product that is released the design is arguably better and better each year

  9. Influence(Cont) • Thats what makes his products so important to graphic arts because of the fact that its not only about the technical stuff but the overall design and look of what you are trying to portray.

  10. Future • Based on past inventions and places apple has not ventured I think it is possible that video game console could be something developed by Apple itself. • Apple is always thinking of new ways to do something that has been done before and with video games they could make a big name for themselves by incorporating their touch OS technology into their iconsole

  11. Conclusion • Steve Jobs was a man Respected and looked up to by many people and even though he is no long with us , his spirit will always live on within future Apple products and the people who make them
