  2. About the Library • The JSU Library (Houston Cole Library) is a thirteen-story building divided into eight micro-libraries. • The Library is staffed with fourteen professional and nineteen paraprofessional employees. • The Library's collection consists of over 600,000 titles.

  3. Basic Information About Our Services • The JSU Library offers the same services to distance education students and faculty members that are offered to those students and faculty members on campus.   5. Document Delivery • Materials are supplied to distance education students who live outside of Calhoun County. • Requests are made via online form at: http://www.jsu.edu/depart/library/graphic/deform.htm • Requested materials include: • Journal Articles • Book Chapters • Entire Books

  6. Universal Borrowing • In addition to Document Delivery, the JSU Library is a member of the ALLIES (ALabama LIbraries Exchange Service) partnership between several Alabama academic libraries. • With this partnership, ALLIES patrons can place on-line requests and/or check out items from any of the ALLIES libraries provided they have an approved photo ID and meet the requirements of an ALLIES patron. • Currently, the ALLIES libraries include Auburn University, Auburn University at Montgomery, Jacksonville State University, University of Alabama, and University of Alabama at Birmingham.

  11. Interlibrary Loan • Materials not available in the collection may be borrowed from other libraries.
