    7. My System for Progress Monitoring Administer the SLA—Survey Level Assessment Set up a schedule to progress monitor both R-CBM and Maze, every 2 weeks Placement test for the reading programs Stay on schedule when possible, if not, I complete assessments as soon as possible When a student joins my class for the first time, I administer the SLA—Survey Level Assessment Show my assessment binders, if I haven’t already earlier. Following the procedures, I set up a schedule to Progress Monitor both R-CBM and Maze, every 2 weeks. Then, I conduct the placement testing as prescribed in the reading programs that I teach. I try to stay on schedule, if I can’t, I rearrange to complete assessments as close to planned. I’ve been out of the classroom frequently with MiBLSi training– So, I can plan around my absences. When a student is absent, I try to assess them when they return if it is close enough to the scheduled time.
