  1. Qui Jun and the arrogant monk By: Josh Houterman 6D

  2. Once upon a time there was a monk called Shan he had earned himself a great name buthe was very arrogant. Qui Jun heard of the arrogance he had, he wanted to teach him a lesson.

  3. So one day Qui Jun went to meet Shan. Shan did not greet him with respect in fact it was like he didn't’t greet Qui Jun at all.

  4. A soldier came to see Shan and told him that the son of the army officer was here to see him. Shan went to meet him. When he did he greeted him with great respect.

  5. Qui Jun asked why he had treated him with respect and kindness. And behaved so arrogantly at him. Shan said these exact words “please don’t get me wrong. For me greeting means not greeting and not greeting means greeting.

  6. Qui Jun then got even more mad at the monk and beat him on the head with a stick. Then he said these exact words.” According to your logic, beating you means not beating and not beating you means beating therefore I have to give you a beating”.

  7. That day Shan learnt his lesson and treated everyone with respect. No matter what their status is.
