Program overview • Shell Philippines and Coles Express Australia started this recruitment partnership program since 2012. • As of today, Shell Philippines have sent a total of 7 Filipinos who is now living the dream in the Australian Outback. • Coles Express, the operators of the Shell stations in Australia is currently in need of 12 station manager for their stations in the outbacks of Australia. • Retailers are invited to give an opportunity to their site staff who they feel deserve to grow more in the petroleum retail industry. This is one way of rewarding their site staff. • It is requested that recommendation will come from the Retailers themselves. • It is highly suggested that it would be a married couple, husband and wife since the retail locations would be remote.

Have an enthusiastic and positive attitude in the workplace. • Experience • 5 Years Experience in the Fuel and Convenience or Retail Industry • Computer Skills Intermediate computer skills • Strong Work EthicHard working, Honest and with Integrity • Positive Attitude • Each locations offer unique challenges to our Remote teams.  We are looking for leaders who are cheerful and upbeat with a “can do” attitude.  A good sense of humour is also a must! • Core Skills • Ability to make our customer needs a primary focus • Ability to work autonomously • Communicating and Influencing • Delivering results • Developing self and others • Planning and organizing • Problem solving and Decision-making • Working with and leading teams • Working with customers and stakeholders

  5. What is in it for the applicant? • All suitable candidates will be nominated for a permanent residencyvisa which is called a Subclass 187 – Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme, this visa will allow candidates to live and work in remote locations in Western Australia. • This is a permanent residency visa.  It allows the candidates and any of their family members who have also been granted this visa to: • Stay in Australia indefinitely • Work and study in Australia • Enrol in Medicare, Australia's scheme for health-related care and expenses • Apply for Australian citizenship (if you are eligible) • Sponsor eligible relatives for permanent residence • Travel to and from Australia for five years from the date the visa is granted (after that time, you will need a resident return visa or another visa to return to Australia). • The compensation will be discussed directly with the staff who have signified their interest to apply.

Requirements for screening/Interviews • Retailers recommendation • Comprehensive Bio Data / Resume • Necessary Government, NBI,  and Police Clearances • Must have propelled his/her assigned station to Gold or Silver status. • Must have worked for at least 5 years in the station. • Preferably a site supervisor or an on-site coach. • Philippine Passport holder • For candidates who passed the screening/interview: • Candidates will be required to undertake a medical examination as part of the visa application, please note the candidate(s) will be asked to bear the cost of this requirement. • Candidates are also required to pass the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) in order to obtain the visa. Coles Express will reimburse for the cost of the exam, study preparations, however, shall be shouldered by the candidate.
