  1. Home Remedies For Burns And Scars www.padanjaly.com

  2. Tooth Paste For semi wet or dry burns, wash the burnt area with running cold water and apply a thick layer of toothpaste. It works wonders. Results are even better if the toothpaste has a certain amount of mint in it.

  3. Vanilla extract Attention cake bakers! After sustaining a minor burn injury, if a vanilla extract is gently dabbed using a piece of cotton, it helps in quick healing as the alcohol in vanilla evaporates, which helps in cooling off the burnt area.

  4. Tea bags Yes, tea bags. Tea bags wetted, and placed on the burnt area using gauges, help in absorbing the heat from the wound, as it contains tannic acid.

  5. Aloe Vera Aloe Vera has astringent and tissue healing properties which help in healing burns. Aloe vera juice can either be applied directly on the burn, or can be mixed with a tinge of turmeric and applied.

  6. Coconut Oil and Lemon Juice This doesn’t work on fresh scars, it is prevalently used to treat the scars and the marks. Coconut oil is an excellent source of Vitamin E and fatty acids such as lauric acid, myristic acid and caprylic acid that offer anti-fungal, antioxidant and anti-bacterial benefits whereas lemon juice has acidic properties that naturally lighten the scars. A mixture of both is perfect to apply on any burn scar.

  7. Honey Honey can act as a disinfectant to wounds as it has anti-bacterial properties. It thus reduces the chances of developing hypertrophic scars.

  8. Vinegar Acetic acid, an important component of vinegar, is also a component of aspirin and thus helps relieving the itching and the inflammation of the burn. It also draws heat from the wound, thus reducing the pain.
