  2. ] There is an archaelogist which men are his business. Just the same his wondering if we’ll ever find out what made men different from robots by digging around on the dead planets. You see, he lived with a man once, and he know that it isn’t as simple as they told him back their in school. We have a few records, of course, and robots like him are filling in some of the gaps. We know that men came from a planet called Earth. Our scientists tells us that men were very much alike us – and skeleton of a man is, to be sure, almost the same as the skeleton of a robot, except that it’s made of some calcium compound instead of titanium. Just the same, there are other differences. It was only last field trip, to one of the inner planets, that he met a man. And the man he met must have been the last man in this system and he’d forgotten how to talk- he’d been alone so long. Once the man learned their language they got along fine together, and he planned to bring the man back with him. Something happened to him, though.

And the man he met must have been the last man in this system and he’d forgotten how to talk- he’d been alone so long. Once the man learned their language they got along fine together, and he planned to bring the man back with him. Something happened to him, though. One day, for no reason at all, the man complained of the heat. So, he checked his Temperature and decided that his thermostat circuits were short. The robot had a kit of field spares with him, and he was obviously out of order, so he went him to work. He turned im off without any trouble. He pushed the needle into his neck to operate the cut off switch, and the man stopped moving, just like robot. But when he opened him up they wasn’t the same inside. And when he put him back together he couldn’t get him running again. Then the man sort of withered away – and by the time he was ready to come home, about a year later, there was nothing of him but bones. Yes, men are indeed different.

  4. ROBOT A robot is a virtual or mechanical artificial agent. In practice, it is usually an electro-mechanical system which, by its appearance or movements, conveys a sense that it has intent or agency of its own. The word robot can refer to both physical robots and virtual software agents, but the latter are usually referred to as bots. There is no consensus on which machines qualify as robots, but there is general agreement among experts and the public that robots tend to do some or all of the following: move around, operate a mechanical limb, sense and manipulate their environment, and exhibit intelligent behavior, especially behavior which mimics humans or other animals.

  5. While there is no single correct definition of "robot", a typical robot will have several or possibly all of the following properties. • It is artificially created. • It can sense its environment, and manipulate or interact with things in it. • It has some ability to make choices based on the environment, often using automatic control or a preprogrammed sequence. • It is programmable. • It moves with one or more axes of rotation or translation. • It makes dexterous coordinated movements. • It moves without direct human intervention. • It appears to have intent or agency.

  6. HUMANS • not artificially created • have feelings • came from a planet called Earth • the way they walk is not the same as robot do • they bleed • can’t be made through spares • Have own sense of humor
