  3. The Challenge • RG manages all sorts of events at the SOFMC arena • Hockey Games • Concerts • Marty the Marmot Appearances • RG wishes to view all events in a single calendar but also to view the data sliced and diced to suit • Need access to it for all staff

  4. The Answer A calendar view in SharePoint Individual, customized Event Content Types

  5. Planning Calendar List or Custom List? Gather requirements for each ‘event’ Implement Test

  6. What are Content Types? SITE Columns • PO Number • Vendor • PO Approval Status • Etc. Template IRM Information Rights Management Purchase Order • PO’s Cannot be Printed • PO’s Do Allow Cut/Paste • Etc. Workflows • PO Approval Routing • Etc.
