Header with your name and page number • When you add this page to your paper, make sure the page number is continuous with your paper. • Works Cited is at the TOP, CENTERED, not underlined • Citations are in alphabetical order, based on the first word in the citation. • Use hanging indents • No extra spaces between citations • Websites are not blue and hyperlinked Works Cited Page

  4. (Nelson). (“Poets”). (“The Road”). When you do not have a page number, like with a website, then you just put the first word of the citation in the parenthetical citation. With a book source you will have a page number. Your journal sources may or may not have a page number. You may shorten a website or journal article title or use the whole thing. Use your best judgment. Using that Works Cited Example – My Parenthetical Citations would be:
