  1. A Letter from 2080 This is a story about the world after seventy years. A world that People fight for water. Through the Reporter and his son’s words, we can tell how different it had changed after these years. By: Asmau and Janice

  2. Dear Son, I’m now in a dessert where it used to be filled with ice and snow. I could hardly believe what I saw. There were people fighting, even killing each other just for a cup of water. Not to mention, water has been very precious in 2080. Amlkjregn , the location of where I am. It used to be cold and snowy seventy years before.

  3. You see, the government has been always telling us to save water resources, but we just kept ignoring it. Because most of us really never believed that the world will run out of water and become like this, arguing, fighting, hurting each other…….. What a dog eat dog world?

  4. Trust me, from now on, we’ll really have to look at this problem seriously. Not long, we would face the problem: Out of water. Without water, crops won’t grow well, the farmers’ won’t have harvest, and we won’t have enough food to eat. Without water, we can’t clean our clothes, dishes, hair, face, etc. Without water, it’s going to be a disaster.

  8. Dad, I saw the letters and pictures that you sent me. They were the saddest and most horrible scenes that I’ve ever witnessed! I could tell they were in pain from their faces. The wrinkles on the child’s face scared me! I couldn’t believe he was just fourteen years old. Please tell me more about the future! Love to hear from you again Dear son
