Continuing Professional Developmentrequirements for dentists and oral care specialists (1) • All specialists are required to undertake the set amount of hours of continuing professional development over a five-year period. • Dentist at least 120 hours • Dental techniciansat least 60 hours • Oral hygienists at least 60 hours • Dental assistants at least 50 hours

Continuing Professional Development requirements for dentists and oral care specialists (2) • Compulsary hours : • medical emergencies (at least 2 hours per 5 years) • disinfection and decontamination (at least 2 hours per 5 years) • medicalethics(at least 2 hours per 5 years) • prophylaxisoforaldiseases (at least 2 hours per 5 years) These hours are counted into required hours
