Teaching and Learning New Social Studies Syllabus 2012-2014
P1 –P6 SS teachers • Please refer to the SS Folder 2014. • View videos in the IT folder. • E- learning video are available for teachers who did not attend SS courses for P1 to P6. • All SS IT resources can also be downloaded from Opal edumall. • There will be a book check in June for all classes.
Pupil Folio • File in all learning journey worksheets • File in treasure chest worksheet if any • File in Quiz if any • File in Project work ( Performance Task) if any. • Pupils Folio are to be used from Primary 1 to 6. Tell pupils not to throw them away instead reused them till primary 6. • Contents in the file can be kept in the file till Primary 6. • If pupil throw Folio away in primary 2 onwards, please tell them to get a new file.
Field Based Learning • The FBL will be taken by Vendor • All Form teachers will be going for the Field based learning. • SS teachers will be following with the class performance task. • During this trail , you will need to bring your teacher desk copy & Camera. • 1-2 Parent volunteer per class. • Each day only 2 – 3 classes will go out to the venue. • Each learning journey will last for 2-3hours .
