  2. Timeline • Tuesday, December 3rd and Thursday, December 5th: • In-class presentation dates. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY! • All grounds will come to class on Tuesday prepared to present. • Saturday, December 14th: Final individual papers based on the jurysimulation project are due. • Your oral group presentations are worth 10 points. • You will present AS GROUPS

  3. Class presentation • What do we need? (panicked tone) • Title (catchy and descriptive) • Introduction material: • Why do we care? • What do we know? • What do we not know? • How do you propose to test that? • Hypotheses.

  4. Class presentation • Method: • Participants • Materials • Discuss in detail, present examples. • Procedure • Results: • Use graphs for all of your results! • Include means and use statistical information.

  5. Class presentation • Discussion: • What do your findings mean or not mean? • Limitations • Future directions • Citations.

  6. Class presentation • Question and answer period: • I expect EVERYONE to participate!

  7. Presentations hints • Dress appropriately. • Professional dress, no Miley Cyrus and no Taylor Lautner!

  8. Final paper • Same overall format as your other papers. • No Scoring and reliability section. • No need to have separate descriptive and inferential statistics sections. • It will be helpful though to let me know what the mean is for your DV. • References (at least 2) • At least two figures (graphs) + your scenarios • At least one table

  9. Homework • Make your presentations! If you get them done early enough, I will review powerpoint presentations for you and give feedback ahead of Tuesday.
