  2. Traveling from the US usually requires a passport. • The passport is necessary to enter any foreign countries, as it confirms that you are a citizen of U.S. • While traveling it is important to keep our documents especially passport safe and secure, as losing a passport in any other country requires visiting the nearest embassy to obtain proper documentation before returning home.

  3. A person must follow the steps below to make their trip a bit more safe and happy. Step 1 • Before leaving for the trip make a copy of the first two pages of the passport. • Your passport pictures should be clear too. • Keep the copies separate from your original passport at your destination as well to avoid losing both at the same time.

  4. Step 2 • While traveling keep your passport with you to show officials at the entry points. • Avoid having one person carry passports for everyone in a group. • Have each member responsible for his own passport. • Carry your passport in an inside pocket, instead of your carry-on or in an external pocket.

  5. Step 3 • Secure your passport while traveling local areas. • Use a specially designed container, that is splash-proof. • Can be attached to a belt loop or a neck pouch that allows you to carry your passport and other small items safely.

  6. Step 4 • keep your passport in a secure place. • Put it in your hotel room if you don’t need it, avoid leaving it in an empty room. • Take your passport if you are unable or un satisfied to secure it in your room.

  7. Step 5 • Immediately report a lost or stolen passport. • Contact the nearest embassy office as soon as possible.

  8. Thank You!!!
