  3. modern.gov • last 18 months - producing agendas • streamlined agenda production • pre-printed page numbers • efficiency - crucial • report management system • has been agreed COE • it is mandatory

  4. report management system • benefits: • only one copy of each report - accessed by all • track changes can be used • full history available • no “go live” date yet • once it goes live, reports will not be accepted in any other format

  5. setting you up • I will tell democratic services who has been on training • they will check you are set up on system • you will receive a “welcome to workspace” email

Scenario (page 3) • Person A writes report on Waste management, with appendix, to be submitted to “Test Committee” for 01/09/2012 • Person A sends report to be reviewed by Person B by 20/08/2012 • Person B will review the report • Person A checks reviewed report • Person A sends for sign off by Chief Officer • Person C or B (CO) checks and signs off report • Person A releases report to Democratic Services
