Patrick Brompton Hall Wellbeing, Yoga and Weekend Retreats House Yorkshire Patrick Brompton Hall is a family-owned grade II* Historic House built in the Queen Anne style in 1703 and is known locally as ‘the secret gem of Wensleydale”. Generations of the family along with their many friends, have gathered here to share love, stories, to celebrate and relax. We are now opening our doors to a new generation of family, our retreat guests. Walk through splendid woodland, read on a cosy sofa, take an early morning swim, walk beside our sparkling stream in ancient parkland and possibly catch a fleeting glimpse of a kingfisher. Nature is all round you combined with the super-healing power of the colour green. We make our beautiful house and its wonderful surroundings your country house home for the weekend or week, for your wellbeing, yoga retreats, walking or creative weekends, holistic house parties or a bespoke teacher training stay for your group.   2. Patrick Brompton Hall Most retreats are perfect for beginners and the more experienced. Yoga retreats are wonderful for mind body and spirit and some self-care. The retreat format depends on who is leading the retreat. Some retreats are led by our own in-house team, some are led by visiting yoga teachers. The timetable will state what style of yoga is being offered on that retreat. There is a sample timetable of a weekend retreat as a guide, below. Retreat guests can enjoy the use of our indoor pool and weather permitting, our extensive gardens and grounds for walking. We have a tennis court. Inside PB Hall, you can relax in one of our two ‘soft- space’ sitting rooms, where fires are lit during the winter. The emphasis at Patrick Brompton Hall is on letting go of what no longer serves you, so that you leave us with a rejuvenated nervous system to help you withstand the pressures of our current times.
