  6. TELEPHONE USE A CALLING CARD NO CALLS BEFORE 9AM OR AFTER 10 PM LIMIT CALLS TO 15 MINUTES

  7. COMPUTERS No computers in the bedroom Do not download games Limit the time on the computer

  8. Keep the family rules Be polite

  9. I am going shopping after school OK COMMUNICATE Let your host family know if you will be late Ask – do not assume Let your host family know where you are going

  10. NOT ALLOWED No candles in your bedroom It is illegal to drink under 18 It is illegal to buy cigarettes under 18

  11. YOUR HEALTH Stay active Eat healthy food Sleep at regular times

  12. GET INVOLVED JOIN A SCHOOL CLUB VOLUNTEER BE INDEPENDENT – TAKE THE BUS GO TO THE COLLICUT CENTRE GO TO THE MOVIES

  13. TRAVEL OUT OF TOWN • YES --- WITH YOUR HOST FAMILY ANYTIME • YES -- WITH ANOTHER APPROVED HOST FAMILY • YES – WITH THE SCHOOL
