Added Content – Upcoming Review • The new Syndetics Unbound product claims to offer similar added content value to NoveList • Currently we subscribe to NoveList and to Syndetics Classic • We will compare Syndetics and NoveList’s products in detail this year to determine whether to keep both subscriptions

Evergreen Development Update • January Rollout • Positive feedback on new features • Several libraries have already used the Emergency Closing Handler • Other Evergreen libraries are excited about the Discard/Weed function • Catalogers are all up and running with new spine & pocket label printing changes • No more white screens of death!
Evergreen Development Update • MassLNC Development Initiative Projects • Acquisitions – Testing for first phase (underlying structure update to Angular) • Hold Notification Updates – Testing phase (asks patrons if they want to update existing holds when they change their notification preferences) • Currently reviewing technical specifications for sorting items by geographical proximity
Evergreen Development Update • Emerald Development Projects • Bug fixing for a few remaining small issues in spine & pocket label printing • Adding Acquisitions category to Quick Reports
Evergreen Development Update • Rbdigital • Installed on one of our test servers but a configuration bug has prevented us from completing setup • Waiting on configuration bugs to be fixed before we can continue testing
Evergreen Bug Squashing Weeks • Three Bug Squashing Weeks scheduled for 2019: • May 20 - 24 July 29 - Aug 2 Sept 9 - 13 • No coding knowledge needed! People can participate by reviewing reported bugs, testing, and updating documentation. • If you have staff who are interested in making Evergreen better, please encourage them to participate (contact me at tmccanna@georgialibraries.org for more info).

2019 Evergreen International Conference • Sessions were led by Terran McCanna, Elaine Hardy, Tiffany Little, Chris Sharp, and Elizabeth McKinney • Several working groups are being started or revitalized • And as always, productive and encouraging contact with the developers and with our colleagues at all of the other Evergreen libraries
