  2. Put a card pattern onto your fabric. • Draw around the card with tailors chalk. • Cut out the fabric

  3. 4. Iron the sides of your pocket and pin them down

  4. 5. Iron and pin the bottom edge.

  5. 6.Iron and pin top edge.

  6. 7. Sew the top hem

  7. 7. Pin your pocket onto your fabric – make sure the fabric is flat!

  8. 8. Carefully sew the three edges of your pocket onto the backing fabric. Remember to leave the needle in at corners to get a neat finish.

  9. 9. Trim any threads -and your pocket is finished!
