  1. Panacur Oral Suspension for Dogs Panacur Oral Suspension for Dogs and Cats Panacur Oral Suspension is a broad spectrum wormer for the treatment of roundworms, tapeworms and lung worms in dogs, cats, puppies and kittens from 2 weeks of age. It comes in 100 ml bottles of oral suspension. It is also utilized as an ovicidal to kill nematode eggs. This treatment can be dosed into the mouth or mixed in the food. Each bottle of the product comes with a plastic measuring cup for easy dose measuring. This treatment is recommended for large litters and daily dosing of pregnant bitches. It is recommended that pregnant bitches are regularly treated with this product to reduce the prenatal infections of roundworms. This treatment should be repeated when natural re-infestation with parasitic worms occurs. Information: Panacur Oral Suspension assists in treating adult dogs and cats with gastrointestinal nematodes and cestodes including: Ascarid spp. (Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati and Toxascaris leonina), Ancylostoma spp., Trichuris spp., Uncinaria spp. and Taenia spp. This treatment assists in treating dogs infected with lungworm Oslerus (Filaroides) osleri or protozoa Giardia spp., and cats infected with lungworm Aelurostrongylus abstrusus. It contains Fenbendazole as the active ingredient. It has a very gentle action starving the worms by preventing them absorbing glucose. There is no effect on the pets. Then the dead worms are digested. Fenbendazole is highly safe for dogs and cats and so it is impossible to give a large dose that can harm puppies or kittens.
