TPT-WG35, Bangkok, Thailand Thirty Fifth APEC Transportation Working Group Meeting, Bangkok, Thailand, 20-24 February 2012 • Background • Objective • Enhance physical connectivity “across the border” • Develop a more efficient and environment-friendly logistics system for developing economies • Provide a discussion platform for sharing experiences and offering technical trainings on 3PL services to APEC member economies • (approval for APEC funding at 30 December 2011) • Format • One-day forum focuses on globalization trends analysis, 3PL service models review, and introduction of 3PL development in Taiwan/ Asia Pacific. • Two-day technical visits at the Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers including three or four 3PL service providers • Period • Sep. 10-14 or Sep. 17-21
