  1. Payam Nia Mechatronics Architect of FILM Products at KLA

  2. Payam Nia has completed his master in Mechanical Engineering from Ferdowsi University in 2009 and PhD from Northeastern University in 2014.

  3. Payam M Nia served as a research assistant at Harvard Medical School and Northeastern University in Boston in his early career years. Before joining KLA, Milpitas, in 2020 as a senior mechatronics engineer, Payam Nia has served as a Senior Systems Control Engineer at Carl Zeiss X-ray Microscopy at Pleasanton in CA for three years.

  4. Payam Nia has led multiple projects for the Zeiss product release, which include finding technical solutions, coding, assigning tasks to software and test engineers, holding progress and strategy meetings, and taking necessary steps for project progress.

  5. Payam M Nia has developed his technical skills in signal processing, input shaping and disturbance handling. In addition, Payam Nia utilizes application programming and UI design using Python and MATLAB.

  6. Payam Nia has designed a multi-feature application for X-ray source calibration in the Versa microscope software product, Carl Zeiss X-ray Microscopy, 2018. Moreover, he has built an application released as part of the ASML product in 2016.

  7. Payam M Nia received Alfred J. Ferretti Award Recipient for Research Excellence in Mechanical Engineering Department during his stay at Northeastern University in 2014. He efficiently utilizes project management tools such as TFS, Jira, SVN, Microsoft teams, Excel, and office timeline.
