  4. 3 Tier Model PBIS

  5. 1-5% = 7-35 students PBIS 5-15% = 35-105 students Student Numbers by Tier 80-90% = 560-630 students  Based on enrollment of 700 students

  6. Three major components of PBIS PBIS • Teaching appropriate behavior in all settings. • Interventions when behavior expectations are not met. • Recognition when behaviors are met. Major Components

PBIS • 5:1 positive to negative feedback • Immediate, genuine, specific feedback • High frequency ticket system (SOAR slips) • Menu of rewards choices since not all kids like the same thing • Survey students to find out what motivates them • Classroom systems that align with the school system • Simple system so there is consistent follow-through by adults Positive Reinforcement

Call the office and Salli or Erika will radio Tanys Step 3 – Tanys will assess the situation depending on severity and occurrences Step 4 – Referred to Clinton if needed Step 5 – Clint will follow up with teacher and Tanys; determine consequences and future interventions Process
