Solutions To instantly RecoverUnsaved Word Document Solution 1: Using Open in File Tab 1) First, open a blank Word file, and visit the File tab on the upper left of the document. 2) In the context menu, tap on Open. 3) Then, on the right side of the pane, tap on Recover Unsaved Documents at the bottom of the document. 4) From the File Explorer, choose the file you wish to recover and tap on Open. 5) Tap on the Save As button and save the document in the desired place. Solution 2: Using the Info Option in File Tab

Then on the right side, tap on Manage Document, and from the drop down, choose Recover Unsaved Documents. Now, follow Step 4 and Step 5 from Solution1 to recover the unsaved document ad save it to the preferred location. But, if this doesn’t work, follow the 3rd solution. Solution 3: Using AppData 1) Click the Windows key + R simultaneously on your keyboard to open the Run command. Now, enter appdata in the search box and click Enter. This will launch the AppData folder in the File Explorer. 2) In the AppData folder, copy and paste the below path and click Enter: C:\Users\madhu\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\UnsavedFiles This will redirect you to the unsaved files location in the AppData folder. Now, follow Step 4 and 5 from Solution 1 to recover the desired file and save it in your preferred location.
