Service Learning IS • meshing service tasks to learning opportunities in a structured and reciprocal way • a learning exchange, bringing value to both community and student. • letting students put into practice what they have learnt in the classroom • while providing structured time for reflecting on their experience • and developing a sense of caring for others

  3. Service Learning IS NOT • an add on • A quick fix way of earning credits to graduate by performing community service • and it is certainly not a form of punishment.
