LEO functionsResearch & Development • R&D develops drugs and New Chemical Entities (NCE) that alleviate or cure diseases • More than 550 scientists and researchers work in R&D to fulfill these goals • We take the drugs all the way – from organic chemistry, isolation of compounds from microbial and biological material to registration • A substantial part of our research focuses on: • Dermatology • Critical Care • We investigate and manage licensing activities and agreements
