Established on the 9th of July 2020, Penang Infrastructure Corporation Sdn Bhd is a special purpose vehicle set up by the Penang Government to be the driving force the implementation of the Penang Transport Master Plan (PTMP). PIC's vision is to construct resilient developments and transport infrastructure, namely components of the Bayan lepas Light Rail Transit (LRT), Pan Island Link highways, major roads, The Third Link and lastly, the Penang South Islands to evolve Penang into a leading state.
