  27. 5.PURCHASE OF MEDICINES MAJOR CHUNK OF MEDICINES ARE BEING PURCHASED FROM CENTRAL PUBLIC SECTOR UNDERTAKINGS. TO BRING MORE REPUTED COMPANIES, MINIMUM TURNOVER CRITERIA HAS BEEN REVISED FROM RS.5 CR./ANNUM TO RS.15 CR./ANNUM. MORE STRINGENT TESTING CLAUSES HAVE BEEN PUT SAMPLES TO BE DRAWN BY PHSC SAMPLES TO BE TESTED FROM SHRI RAM LAB, NEW DELHI OR NABL ACCREDITED LABS ONLY.

Talwar, Director, PGI and he is of the opinion that already existing Committee headed by Prof. (Retd.) Dr. J.S.Chopra may be retained.

CONTROL ROOM WILL BE EQUIPPED WITH COMPUTERS  FAX  MOBILE  IVRS  INTERNET ETC. COMPLAINT CAN BE REGISTERED THROUGH WEBSITE, MOBILE, FAX OR TELEPHONE. HOSPITALS WILL MAINTAIN EQUIPMENT COMPLAINT REGISTERS. CONTROL ROOM WILL START FUNCTIONING FROM 15.6.2010
