  1. Tips for Effective Air Conditioning Maintenance

  2. Clean the Air Conditioner Coils Over time you can find much dirt from the evaporator coil and the condenser coil when it doesn’t undergo service. This dirt reduces the airflow and its ability to absorb heat. In order to avoid this problem, you have to give a check on the evaporator coil every year and clean it as possible.

  3. Coil fins The coil fins on the evaporator and condenser coils are easily bent and this can block the airflow. So there is a thing called fin comb that will comb these fins back to the original condition. You can get the fin comb from the air conditioning wholesalers.

  4. Check the Wires and Components It is important to check the internal connections of the air conditioner to check the function of the wires and other components. Also, ensure that you turn off the power unit and remove the access panel and look for the signs of overheating. Sometimes you can find the melting insulation on the wires or burned wires as the signs for necessity replacement.

  5. Unclog the Rear drain The water gets collected inside the air conditioner if the drain at the rear end is blocked. This finds no space to leave and drips inside the room from any opening. When the water inside the AC finds no vent then there is a chance for the humidity level to increase inside the room.
