  2. Purpose To seek Board approval of a move to a three-year performance appraisal model for tenured teachers

Proposed Three-Year Appraisal Process • No Change to Non-Tenured evaluation cycle (remains a yearly growth model) • Three-Year Cycle for Tenured Teachers • Allows for differentiated and personalized approach for teacher growth and development • Any teacher not demonstrating adequate performance placed on Plan of Assistance at any point in the process • Any teacher on a Plan of Assistance will be placed on an annual appraisal cycle
