WHS FANTASTIC FOUR (Positive Behavioral Intervention and Support) Dear Parents and Guardians, We would like to give you all an update on the positive programs happening at Washington High School! Did you know that your student has the ability to be invited to many different celebrations at WHS? Potluck with the Principal Every second Friday of the month, students of the month and students on high honor roll are invited during last block to have lunch with Mr. O. “BLOCK”Buster Movie Party Students who were on honor roll the 1st term and who had excellent attendance were invited to a movie and Cousin Subs lunch party. No Tardies for the Day Students who did not have any tardies for the day are entered into a drawing for 20 Purgolder Points to spend at the Fantastic Four Store. Celebrations of the Past: Halloween Dance Students who were on honor roll the first term or had excellent attendance were invited to a Halloween Dance with candy, snacks and juice. Dinner of Thanks Thank you to Violence Free Zone for putting this together! All students were invited after school for a Thanksgiving dinner to thank students for a safe school. Punctuality Pass Winners Students who are on time are entered into a drawing to pick a prize.

  2. Celebrations to come: Fantastic Four Store Remind your students to carry their Purgolder Points sheets so that they may collect points and buy things! The store is open every Tuesday and Thursday during your student’s lunch hour. Celebrating Success Party • Candy Cane eating contest, cookie decorating, hot chocolate and pictures with Santa • Thursday, Dec 16 during 6th block • Honor Roll students and 100% attendance from Dec 6 thru 15, less than 2 tardies Breakfast of Champions First block with the best attendance for a week receives free breakfast the following week! Mr. Hendricks’ and Ms. Spoehr’s class have won the first two weeks! Please remind your students that their positive behavior can get them invited to all of the fun activities going on at WHS. If your student is on the “No Hall Pass List” they will miss out on all the fun. If they are collecting Purgolder Points, their points are “frozen”; they are not allowed to purchase items from “Willie’s Place”; they cannot attend the celebrations; and they cannot attend WHS basketball games until their names are taken off the list. Students can have their names taken off the list by serving their detentions. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Principal, Mr. Ogunbowale, at 875-5905.
