Common Board Configuration Date: August 9 or 10 , 2012 Vocabulary: On Demand, focus groups, communities, groups, colleagues, admin tab Bell Ringer: We will watch a short video from PD360 and discuss with shoulder partners prepared questions. Agenda: Gradual Release Review Video, pair-share Login explore Review resources Create reports Create a group Create profile Learning Goal:Participants will have an understanding and working knowledge of the resource PD360 and create a collaborative connection with peer participants. Benchmark:: A hands on training in the computer lab will be used as a walkthrough of the program to gain understanding of the capabilities of PD360 and how it will benefit student achievement. Summarizing Activity: Facilitating Professional Learning and Instructional Resources through hands on training of the PD360 resource building a network of collaborative learning Objective:Teachers will become familiar with the resource PD360 and how to gain knowledge and collaboration with peers. Homework: Sign into PD360 and view the introduction to PD360 video and invite a colleague to collaborate. Essential Question: How can PD360 help me to improve my teaching skills to further advance student achievement?

How can you use data collection and evaluation in a PLC to improve your teaching methodologies? • 2. How could having a unified, district-wide RTI system, help you and your PLC make data-based decisions to help struggling students? • 3. How clear are our district goals pertaining to: • Developing benchmarks of achievement • Creating assessments that track students’ progress toward the benchmark group • Helping teachers become proficient at monitoring student progress • Using the data you gather to make decisions that would ensure maximum student success

  16. This is your PD360 Dashboard. You will start your research here. The tiles change to show up-to-date information on recent videos, communities, groups, and other related items.

  17. Your Dashboard is the starting point with your home button and key tabs.

  19. When you expand the folders, the resources will appear.

  22. The additional resource from the video related tab, may bring up more videos, communities, groups or colleagues .

  23. Creating groups can help you view targeted videos and collaborate with others.

  24. Principals and Assistant Principals have demand rights to view and edit users. Some other site coordinators have these rights as requested by your site administrators.

  26. Administrators have access to several reports in PD360

  27. This report area allows to view an example of the reports to be generated.

  28. Reports can be downloaded or emailed using PDF, CSV or XLS formats
