Xoserve Progress • Mod 340/iGT Mod 047 progressing • Little debate on required data items • Mod 340 to be User Pays (Shippers) • Detailed Cost Analysis underway • Looks at Foundation & Enduring Solution • Aim for early delivery of Foundation requirements to support Ofgem’s Effective Switching initiative. • Complete DCA will take between 3 – 6 months • Costs • Options • Timescales

Issues • Should UK Link hold SMSO for LSPs and I&C sites? • What should SMSO ID look like? • Field length • Compatible with electricity or unique? • Should suppliers populate the SMSO field with the value DCC? • Can the DCC status flag be populated for a • future effective date • Retrospective date • Should we create a dependency between a SMETs compliant meter and IHD. (i.e. If Meter Mech Code is S1 or S2 then IHD must be populated. • A recommendation has emerged from Mod 430 that Non SMETs Meters changes from a code of NSS to NS. • Will security requirements from STEG place additional requirements on the solution?

Foundation Stage Issues • Installing Supplier difficulties where Meter Asset Info has not been updated. • Many redundant supplier IDs held against MPRNs on UK Link • Consequences • Incorrect Installing Supplier • No facility to retrospectively change data • Potentially complex and time consuming solution • FIOM document 3.0 states that suppliers can derive installing supplier on DES for themselves. Data items to achieve this are not available.
