Why EBM in Developing Countries • Limited capacity for drug regulation. • Limited resources for the National Health Systems • Some difficulties for continuing medical education. • Few library facilities • Poor access to the literature (databases, journals, textbooks) • Why to promote it in CUBA • Poor knowledge about its concepts and methodology • Scarce presence in education programs • Low use frequency of EBM sources in spite of Infomed • Poor abilities for searching of doctors and researchers • Few articles in Cuban literature, majority MSc.
