Pythagurus organize SAT prep courses for students to achieve a good rank, which can fetch you admissions and even scholarships in a few colleges. How to take up the SAT examination? SAT is purely based on 400 - 1600 scale examinations, which needs to be completed in nearly 4 hours. SAT would have 4 important sections, where English, Mathematical knowledge, aptitude and common sense would be tested by giving different question papers. SAT examinations should be taken seriously, as an incorrect answer attracts negative points and your total score could reduce to a greater extent because of wrong answers. Pythagurus observes and understands your level of knowledge and prepares action plans to give a perfect SAT test preparations. As every section is important, our staffs are well equipped with study materials and trainers for every subject individually. How new SAT is different from old SAT exams? The previous SAT comprised of 3 important sections like reading comprehension, mathematics, and writing. Every paper would be given a scale of 200 to 800 points and an essay in writing section is the only section, where you have to use a long sentence to score marks. The new SAT would be having two math sections, where one section do not permit students to use calculators and the other math sections allow. Reading comprehension paper is all about reading a passage with a smooth flow of words. A perfect reading would be recorded and scores would be allowed automatically by the system. Writing and comprehension section focuses on your vocabulary and grammar parts in you. The paper is multi-choice answers An optional Essay is all about checking your sentence structure, grammar, the flow of language and vocabulary. An essay is optional, but students would get an additional chance to score or to compensate on the final mark sheet. How the score is calculated? Every section of the exam is calculated separately with respect to time and marks. This makes people to score easily with their favourite subjects, as they would have enough time and skill set to score more marks. The Match scores can range anywhere between 200 – 800 points, where both the papers are included.

  2. The reading compression stage attracts a sum of 100 – 400 points. Writing and comprehension section takes 100 – 400 points again and the points take a mixture of writing and comprehension both. An optional essay can compensate any of the missing scores, and do remember that the negative markings are applicable for wrong answers.
