Important Secrets on How to Prepare for Examination with GMAT Classes The Graduate Management Admissions Test or GMAT is designed to test the skills of students who are pursuing MBA or Masters in Accounting & Finance. It is an inclusive exam which tests the skills of a student in reading, writing, quantitative aptitude and reasoning. It tests the ability of a student in reading passage and answering questions related to it. Students also have to learn checking number skills, reasoning skills, and identifying grammatical errors to solve word-based and numerical issues. The Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) The Computer Adaptive Test or CAT is a flagship smart testing system in GMAT classes. If you attend the questions with right answers in this system, you will face harder questions but with more points. If you give wrong answers, you will have to solve easier questions but with low points. Score Pattern There is a descriptive essay in Writing Section, which is scored ranging from 0 to 6. In Quantitative Reasoning, score is ranging from 0 to 8. In verbal and quantitative sections, students can achieve from 0 to 60 marks. In any of these sections, scores above 50 are very rare. At the end of test, temporary scores are generated. Once the essay is manually graded and read, final scores will be available after 20 days through online mode.
